About Heather
Heather is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She is experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She is passionate about creating a safe space for her clients and their families, where they can heal and grow, to be empowered to reach their life goals, and develop deeper connection and more stable relationships. Heather works with her clients through increasing self-awareness, processing systemic shame, developing more effective tools and coping skills, helping them experience themselves in new ways, and creating a healthier family system and relationship patterns.
Heather is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help facilitate healing from trauma and other adverse life experiences. Heather extends compassion and empathy to all her clients as they work through anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational wounds.
In her free time, you can find Heather baking, gardening, hiking, pretty much being outdoors whenever possible, spending time with her husband and 2 dogs, and working on DIY projects around their home.
