They're therapists are incredibly caring. Therapy truly can be a transformative experience if you can be brave enough to take that first step. I did, and it made a profound difference. It's not over night; it happened in time. The therapist I worked with never made me feel rushed, was always welcoming, and had an ability to get at what I was trying to say even when I wasn't sure. I felt sincerely heard, understood, and accepted. I would mention that it is my understanding that different therapists may take different insurance coverages, so make sure to ask if they take your insurance before booking an appointment. As far as staff, although it's not necessarily uncommon, there is no receptionist on-sight. You can book appointments either by text or phone call, and insurance matters, cancellations, etc. are handled the same way. They have a comfortable waiting area with free coffee and peaceful nature scenes and soft music playing on a screen. I always found it to be very calming and meditative.

Highly recommend the weekend couples intensive. You don't have to wait until you are in crisis. Take the money you will spend on couples counseling, and take your spouse to an intensive. You will learn more tools to help improve communication and get out of conflict, than you may ever get out of couples therapy.
