Kristin is a licensed social worker with advanced certification in alcohol & drug counseling. She  has completed an extensive training program and is certified in Sex Addiction Therapy through  the esteemed ITAP institute founded by Dr. Patrick Carnes. 

Kristin’s early interest in wellness began as a massage therapist as her endeavors focused on helping others with finding balance, strengthening their spirituality and seeking an overall  healthy lifestyle. This modality opened her heart to return to college to complete a bachelors  degree in Psychology at Belhaven University and a Masters degree in Social Work at Jackson  State University. She then became licensed through the Association of Social Work Board  (ASWB) and sought additional certification with the Mississippi Association of Addiction  Professionals  

(MAAP). With the furthering of her education in gaining knowledge in human behavior, her  lifelong goal became to unwavering comity to help others that seek counseling by cultivating  hope, teach skills to cope, and to restore vitality for Life on their Journey to Living Intentionally  and in their truth 

Engage with her for even the briefest amount of time and it is evident her belief is that every being is innately good & deserving of self-determination, respectively. Her ability to assist  clients with the tools to instill Hope and strength while building self-esteem is both dynamic & empowering. Kristin works with a client-centered, strength based approach with her clients incorporating meditation, journaling and mindfulness techniques. 

She believes it is a privilege to be an unconditional source of support for her clients in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. 

In her free time she most enjoys both vegetable & flower gardening, traveling for adventure, reading, painting watercolors & oils, yoga/pilates, hiking, cooking and just about anything outdoors with her camera in tow. 

She resides in Madison, MS with her Yorkipoo, “Mozart”. She is most proud of her 4 adult children and has recently been blessed with 2 beautiful grandchildren with another one due in  the Fall of 2021.
